Baguio Getaway

Recently, we have been hearing news that the temperatures in Baguio are reaching a new low. According to PAGASA, the temperature has dropped to 8.1 degrees Celsius just yesterday morning and can still continue to drop until late February.

Incidentally, the lowest recorded temperature in the Summer Capital of the Philippines was at 6.3 degrees Celsius 53 years ago on January 19, 1961.

Two weekends ago, we took the opportunity to go on a road trip to Baguio with the kids and some friends. We stayed at the Jacks Grand View Boutique Hotel and Restaurant situated in Kisad Road. A few things about the hotel that we really liked are its location, view, ambiance and of course the complimentary Filipino breakfast!

The contemporary and clean Interiors fit the ambiance of the place. The architecture allows one to be luxuriously comfortable and the Glass walls also added to the feeling of being one with nature as you can see the pine trees around the area.

The rooms had no air-conditioning though but during our stay, it was not really a problem because it was still cold specially during the nights.

Room rates for this vacation sanctuary range from Php 2,500 for the Deluxe and Php 5,000 for the Family Suite. We suggest checking the web for special packages or discounts or you can also give them a call at +63 74 4220638 / +63 939 9085410 for more information.
